Our Fertilizer Products

We import fertilizers for the government’s flagship program: planting for food and jobs and the open market. Beft Agro has also developed a partnership with the Ghana Cocoa Board to supply Cocobod with soil neutralizing chemical called Calciprill. This is our way of enhancing crop productivity in Ghana. The Calciprill chemical is good at neutralizing soil acidity and enhancing the overall crop yielding capacity of the soil.

Calciprill (Granulated Calcium Carbonate)

Calciprill is prill made from very finely ground purity calcium carbonate. The application is done to adjust soil PH. It is applied to tree crops, pasture and other crops. Calciprill is highly reactive and equally effective at rates 80-90 % lower than required by standard aglime. The rounded prills mean it can be applied, on its own or with additional fertilizer & seeds, by anyone with standard fertilizer spreaders.
